At Jaffery Academy, every effort displayed by learners, which serves as proof of development of the habit and prevailing attitude of excellence through their (even little) achievements, is noteworthy and duly celebrated.
Thus the Jaffery Academyโs annual Prize Giving Day was held on November 23, 2019. It was a day of pomp and colour as the most outstanding students in both the curricular and extracurricular domains of learning were recognized and awarded accordingly.
The audience were treated to words of encouragement by the adorable Year 1 Class in the form of a poem entitled โTry Againโ. Their message echoed the words of Charles Kettering: โIt doesn’t matter if you try and try and try again, and fail. It does matter if you try and fail, and fail to try again.โ
The Year 10 Girls likewise presented an advisory poem by Rudyard Kipling โIF โโ where they painted a picture of how champions are formed โ not in comfort, but through the overcome discomforts that life presents in our daily pursuits.
To the winners of the various awards, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
